Terms and Conditions
We don’t have many rules, but please note our booking conditions below and enjoy your stay at The Old Bakery.
COVID19 - Please observe the additional notices regarding hygiene in order to Stay Safe and be assured we are taking all appropriate steps to provide a safe environment for your stay.
Arrival and Parking – Bedrooms will be available from 15.00 pm onwards – if you anticipate arriving after 19.00 pm please call or email us. There is secure storage for bicycles and limited private parking, on street parking is available outside the property at no charge.
Access to the property – The front door will be locked at 23.00 pm and a key will be provided should you wish to return later. Please ensure that the door is securely closed when you return to the property. Whilst there is a secure storage area for bicycles and locks for each room, The Old Bakery does not accept any liability for guest’s property or belongings, including bicycles.
Free WiFi - Is available upon request, please note there is a separate agreement to be signed.
Breakfast – Will be available between 8.00 am and 9.00 am unless otherwise agreed
Departure – Please vacate your room by 10.00 am unless prior arrangements have been agreed.
Booking Terms – Online or telephone bookings should be secured with a non-refundable deposit by bank transfer, cheque or cash. All bookings should be paid for in full on the day of arrival unless otherwise agreed or paid in advance. We are able to take card payments.
Cancellation – We appreciate things can change and bookings need to be cancelled and we reserve the right to retain any deposit paid if we are not able to re-let the room. Please advise us of any changes at the earliest opportunity to give us time to re-let the room in which case a full refund will be made by cheque/bank transfer to the lead visitor on the booking. Cancellations received within one week of the date of arrival will be subject to a charge of 50% of the booking and we recommend you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover all eventualities.
Damage/Defects – Any damage to the property accidental or otherwise should be reported to the proprietors and every effort will be made to rectify the damage or correct any failings. Repairs for damage considered to be malicious will be charged to the guest.
No Smoking – This is a no smoking property, we have smoke alarms fitted for the safety of ourselves and guests.
Disabled Access – We regret we do not currently have any suitable rooms for people with limited mobility, all bedrooms are on the first or second floor, accessed by stairs.
Taxe de sejour/Tourist Tax – €0.45 (per person per night) is payable prior to departure.
Privacy Notice – we will request and keep your personal details (including copies of overseas visitor’s documentation) of all guests for 6 months, this is a legal requirement and all information will be held securely and destroyed once 6 months has elapsed. We will only contact you directly in connection with your booking, but we may provide details of future events if you have given us express permission to do so (GDPR).
